School News Highlights

2020-2021 School Calendar is READY!

The School Calendar for 2020-2021 has been finalized and approved.  To view/download:

  • For Grades 1-8, the first day of school will be a half-day on Thursday, August 20th
  • For Preschool (ECC), the first day of school is tentatively on Monday, August 24th, with pre-school screening on Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st. (We are currently working to finalize the ECC calendar and will post as soon as it is approved.)
  • For Kindergarten, the first day of school will be a full day on Wednesday, August 26th.  Pre-K Screenings will take place on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th.

Registration for 2020-2021 School Year Begins Soon -- Mark Your Calendar!
Student Enrollment for the 2020-2021 School Year in Keeneyville School District 20 Schools begins very soon!  We thank you for helping us to get your student(s) ready for the upcoming school year with 3 STEPS.  




Watch for your registration postcard to be delivered in the mail in early March with more details.  We will post addition instructions at www.esd20.org --> QUICKLINKS --> REGISTRATION as we get closer to the opening of registration.

Winter Weather + Clothing Reminders

Please take note of these winter weather and clothing reminders as winter is here! 

Please send your child to school dressed ready to go outside.  We will go outside for recess as long as temperature is above 10 degrees with the windchill.  Students must have snowpants and boots to play in the snow.  If they do not have these items then they will need to stay on the black top during recess.  Please remind students that we cannot throw snow at recess for safety.
