WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK!

Illinois 2019-2020 5Essentials Survey:
Organizing Schools for Improvement

The Illinois State Board of Education is implementing this survey to help paint a fuller picture of the teaching and learning in our district and schools.  5Essentials is an evidence-based system designed to drive improvement in schools nationwide.  We are asking District 20 Parents, Students and Teachers to provide their feedback from now until February 14th.

The survey reliably measures changes in a school through a 5Essentials survey taken by parents, students (grades 4-12), and teachers (grades PreK-12) and provides individualized, actionable reports based on five essential areas critical for school improvement: (1) effective leaders, (2) collaborative teachers, (3) involved families, (4) supportive environment, and (5) ambitious instruction.
