Assistant Principal
Mr. Baier attended Illinois State University where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Middle Level Education. Mr. Baier also attended Roosevelt University where he earned his Learning Behavior Specialist Endorsement. Most recently, Mr. Baier obtained his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University.
Mr. Baier has been in education for 18 years and is thrilled to be a part of the Keeneyville family! Prior to Greenbrook, Mr. Baier was a special education teacher at Clare Woods Academy, a special education teacher in Batavia School District 101 and most recently an Assistant Principal in Woodstock School District 200. With a passion for fostering inclusive opportunities for all students, Mr.Baier works to build opportunities for partnerships between students of all abilities. Mr. Baier presented at the Association of Illinois Middle Schools on the “The Power of Peers” and started a Best Buddies program at Rotolo Middle School in Batavia. Mr. Baier's core philosophy on education is fostering and maintaining meaningful relationships.
Outside of school, Mr. Baier and his wife Sophia, are kept busy with their two daughters. Everly (5) and Ella (3) . Mr. Baier and his family enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the park, going on nature walks, and spending time together with “family movie nights” Mr. Baier is also a huge sports fan and you will see his office decorated in the Green and Gold of the Packers. Mr. Baier is proud to be a part of Greenbrook and is excited to begin his adventure as a Gator!
