Arrival & Dismissal
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
As we begin the new school year, we want to remind everyone how important it is to follow our drop-off and pick-up procedures to ensure the safety of all students, families, and staff.
Following these guidelines will also help us make the dismissal process more efficient. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
📞Changes in Transportation: If you need to change your child(ren)'s usual dismissal plan, please call the school office at (630) 894-4544:
- By 3:00 PM on regular school days
- By 2:15 PM on Wednesdays
🚗 Car Riders
- Pull forward as far as possible when picking up your child(ren).
- Only Kindergarten and 1st grade students should be picked up in the first lane.
- All other grades should proceed to their designated pick-up areas.
- Please remain in your call at all times.
- Our staff will safely escort your child(ren) to your vehicle.
- Wait in the neighborhood until your color group is called to avoid traffic backups in the parking lot.
- Do not park and exit your vehicle in the parking lot.
- This creates safety concerns and slows down the process for everyone.
- Dismissal groups and approximate times:
- 🔴Red Group: 3:20 PM
- 🟠Orange Group: 3:22 PM
- 🟢Green Group: 3:25 PM
- 🟣Purple Group: 3:28 PM
🚌 Bus Riders
- Buses will be called as they arrive.
- Students will be dismissed directly to their bus when it is ready for boarding.
🧸 Daycare Pick-Up
- Daycare vans will be called as they arrive.
- Pick-up will take place in the parking lot by the playground.
- Staff will ensure students get safely to their daycare transportation.
🚶 Walkers
- Grades 2-5: Students will exit and meet parents by the Early Childhood Center.
- Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Walkers will be dismissed near the digital sign by the main entrance.
- Please do not walk up to classroom doors.
- Wait in the grass or on the benches.
- Staff will bring your child(ren) to you safely.
